Job Description: Summary The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) performs nursing functions within the scope of practice and provides and/or coordinates care and services to meet the residents’ physical, psychosocial, and functional care needs. Job Responsibilities include of a RNAC: Demonstrable knowledge of state and federal regulations. Ensure accuracy of all sections of Multiple Data Set (MDS) coding to maximize company reimbursement consistent with the levels of treatment delivered and required for appropriate patient / resident care (CMI). Ensure accuracy of clinical paperwork (assessment and accompanying documentation) to maximize company reimbursement consistent with the levels of treatment delivered and required for appropriate patient / resident care. Nursing Educator: Serve as a primary trainer to the nursing department to ensure documentation is accurate, timely, and thorough. This requires high levels of in-person interfacing with both residents and employees. Nurse Management: Serves as a key member of the nursing leadership team to clinically manage the unit in order to maximize patient-centered. outcomes. This includes engagement in leadership standups and influence within interdisciplinary teams. Case management with managed care.
