Registered Nurse CORRECTIONAL setting

Registered Nurse (RN) – Federal Healthcare Setting Position Overview · We are seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) to provide on-site clinical care in a secure federal healthcare environment. · This role involves delivering comprehensive nursing services to an adult patient population while adhering to established clinical, ethical, and institutional standards. Schedule & Hours · Full-time, up to 40 hours per week · Schedules may include five (5) eight-hour shifts or four (4) ten-hour shifts · Typical shifts are early morning to afternoon, with an unpaid lunch break · Schedule may be adjusted based on operational needs Key Responsibilities · Provide direct patient care in accordance with scope of practice and applicable regulations · Administer medications via oral, intramuscular, subcutaneous, and intradermal routes · Assist with medication distribution and clinical workflows · Conduct patient assessments, obtain medical histories, and document clinical encounters · Perform venipuncture, skin testing, EKGs, and basic diagnostic procedures · Monitor and evaluate patient response to treatment and therapy · Respond to medical emergencies and provide care in the absence of a physician when required · Maintain accurate medical records and comply with privacy and confidentiality requirements · Follow infection control, safety, and security protocols at all times · Collaborate with physicians and healthcare staff to support patient care plans Minimum Qualifications · Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in California or Nevada · Minimum of three (3) years of professional RN experience · Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification · Graduation from an accredited nursing program · Ability to pass required background screening and orientation Preferred Experience · Experience in correctional, institutional, hospital, or acute care settings · Strong assessment, documentation, and emergency response skills · Comfort working in structured and secure clinical environments Additional Requirements · Ability to maintain professional boundaries and patient confidentiality · Willingness to comply with all institutional policies and procedures · Professional appearance; scrub uniforms permitted per site guidelines · Must be free of communicable diseases and comply with health screening requirements What We Offer · Competitive hourly compensation · Stable full-time hours · Opportunity to work in a mission-driven healthcare environment For more information and to apply please contact Howard Newman Account Manager, Bond Health Staffing 5824 12th Avenue Brooklyn, NY, 11219 Office: 1-718-302-0040 ext. 204 Fax: 1-718-302-0070 howard@bondhealthstaffing.com
