Assess & evaluate nursing & medical needs by delivery of health care services to clients on Living Area as ordered by physician: observes clients for signs of illness or injury; examines clients; checks vital signs; schedules physical examinations, lab, x-rays & assorted diagnostic studies (e.g., CAT Scan, Colonoscopy); confers with & assists physician on health & behavior problems; administers oral & parenteral medications as ordered by physician; assists with immunization programs; performs advanced nursing procedures, treatment & therapeutic activities; refers to various services (e.g., dentist, podiatrist, psychologist, E.N.T., dermatologist, ophthalmologist, Internal Medicine); assists in emergency room & Clinics as needed.
