A homemaker/companion provide non-medical home care which include: bathing, dressing, meal preparation, medication reminder, companionship, transportation to client's doctor appointment, errands, and light housekeeping and so much more! Our goal is to help our senior clients remain as independent as possible wherever they call home. We are hiring care providers who have ALL the skills and experience with: Dementia, Hospice, Incontinence, Transfers-Hoyer, Gait, Slide Board. The career requires your own vehicle to transport clients, valid Driver's License and vehicle insurance. Our shift needs are all days of the week from Monday to Sunday: AM/PM and short shifts (3-5 hours) Benefits: Flexibility! Dept. of Social Services Home Care Services Bureau. Requirements At least 18 years of age. 1 Year Caregiving Experience (preferred) Completion of a criminal background check Evidence of tuberculosis testing and verification that the caregiver does not have active tuberculosis. Ability to read and follow written instructions and document care given. Self-directing with the ability to work with little direct supervision. Valid driver’s license and auto insurance and/or reliable transportation. HCA (Preferred) Hours Per Week Part-time, Full-time Pay $19-$20 per hour Work Location In Person.
