A homemaker/companion provide non-medical home care which include: bathing, dressing, meal preparation, medication reminder, companionship, transportation to client's doctor appointment, errands, and light housekeeping and so much more!

We are hiring care providers who have ALL the skills and experience with:
Dementia, Hospice, Incontinence, Transfers-Hoyer, Gait, Slide Board.
 
The career requires your own vehicle to transport clients, valid Driver's License and vehicle insurance. 
 
Our shift needs are all days of the week from Monday to Sunday: AM/PM and short shifts (3-5 hours)

Essential Responsibilities: 

Performs personal care activities of daily living. These could include (but are not limited to): 
Assist with Dressing/Grooming

Ambulation/Transfers

Prepares meals and snacks according to instructions

Accompany patient on errands or medical appointments

Performs light housekeeping activities

Medication reminders    

Care of bed-bound clients

Use lifting equipment such as Gait Belts, Slide Boards and Hoyer Lifts

Provide Companionship

 
Requirements: 
  • Must be 18 years of age 
  • Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English as needed for the job
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance 
  • Must have the ability to pass a full employment background check 
  • HCA Registration (We can assist at offer of employment)
  • TB Skin test (no older than 60 days)

Responsibilities Works under the supervision of the Director of Home Care or Hospice and registered nursing staff by assisting in the care of patients by bathing, dressing, feeding, transporting, and providing for the basic needs of the patient in the home environment.
