Why Join Our Team?

Penn Medicine Princeton Health (PMPH) is seeking a full time RN (Registered Nurse) to work the evening shift within Princeton House Behavioral Health’s (PHBH) outpatient facility. The location will be in Eatontown, NJ. The Eatontown Adult Program features a small specialized multidisciplinary team geared towards working with young adult patients and men who suffer from trauma and PTSD. We are very collaborative with support across all disciplines. We get to know our patients very well over the eight to ten weeks they are in treatment, which produces satisfying clinical results. Our nurses have a lot of formal and informal contact with our patients, doing intake evaluations, follow-ups, while also handling any medical incidents on the unit. The nursing office is located right on the milieu, so often times patients are always saying hello. Additionally, we work very closely offering support with to our Women’s Program which is located right upstairs. We are also growing and will be looking to continue expanding our services over the coming months and years. It also does not hurt that we are about 5 miles from the beach!

The schedule for this position is 8am-4:30pm, no weekends and no nights.

Organized
As part of the multi-disciplinary team, nurses are the first line when meeting a patient. They conduct the initial assessment and are often key to putting patients at ease while also making key determinations about the patient’s current condition and needs
Nurses administer periodic injections and UDS which is vital to the stability of our patient’s recovery.

What We Require for this Role:

Education

Associate’s degree in Nursing required
Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Related Work Experience

15 months of RN experience required
Previous behavioral health experience preferred.

LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION OR REGISTRATION REQUIREMENT

Active Registered Nurse license in the state of New Jersey required.
