Job Description:
POSITION SUMMARY
Performs medical screening on all post job-offer employment applicants, schedules post job-offer medical exams and immunizations. Maintains Occupational Health (OH) records and ensures necessary documentation is included in each employee file. Provides educational services related to employee health and wellness and promotes OH programs. Assists in the facilitation of the Workers Compensation Program as needed.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Licensure/Certification:
Knowledge:
Knowledge of a wide range of Occupational Health nursing concepts and principles required.
Requires knowledge of applicable regulations governing Occupational Health.
Previous Occupational Health experience preferred.
Knowledge of Microsoft software (Word/Excel).
Skills:
Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills; ability to complete a multitude of tasks and assignments quickly and efficiently
Excellent organizational and prioritization skills
Ability to use computer software in support of record keeping, statistical analysis and report generation
