Registered Nurse (RN) Full Time Position in the Cardiac Cath Lab at Northwest Health - Porter Hospital

New pay rates available!
Full time: 32 hours per week, 8 hour shifts
Emergency On-Call coverage
Eligible for health benefits, which can include your spouse and/or children

About this unit:

Nurses in this unit are expected to possess a high degree of critical thinking skills. Previous experience is required - preferably in a cardiology area or critical care area at minimum.

Porter's doctors use cardiac catheterization to both diagnose and treat heart disease. Nurses in Porter's Cath Lab can anticipating assisting with the following procedures:

Peripheral angiography
Carotid angiography
Angioplasty
Stent placement
Ablation
Coronary atherectomy
Structural Heart procedures

Employment Requirements:

Successful completion of drug screen
Employment background check

Education:

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN/ASN) required, BSN preferred.

Licensure & Certification:

Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Indiana.
BLS certification must be maintained while in this position
ACLS certification within 12 months of hire, must be maintained while in this position
