Certified Nursing Assistant - Train for Free

Job description:

We provide paid training to become a Certified Nursing Assistant through classwork and lab skills. Class runs about 3 weeks and has limited and selective seating with only top candidates chosen. We pay class participants while in class.

As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you will have the ability to provide direct care for the residents here at Concordia. Responsibilities include but not limited to assisting residents with eating and drinking, ambulating, transferring, toileting, bladder and bowel management, personal hygiene, bathing, dressing, turning and positioning, and documenting the care that was provided. Duties include providing treatment per the ADL/treatment book, and answering resident call bells and responding to needs promptly.

Paid on-the-job training and flexible shifts available. Starting wage is $18/hour while in the class & working as a non-certified aide and includes $1.50 shift differentials for afternoon and midnight shifts. Once CNA certification is obtained, wage increases to $19.50/hour. Full-time and part-time positions available and include a weekend rotation.

Qualifications:

· Must be caring, compassionate and understanding

· High school graduate or GED equivalent preferred
