Licensed Practical Nurse, Advanced - Procedure Room Nurse

What you'll do

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), Advanced Procedure Room Nurse will work Regular Full-Time Days and will provide direct and indirect nursing care individualized to patients' needs.

The LPN Advanced Procedure Room Nurse advocates for patients to ensure that care preserves and protects the patients' autonomy, dignity and rights.
The LPN Advanced Procedure Room Nurse acquires and maintains current knowledge and skills in his or her area of practice.
Performs similar or related duties as requested or directed

What we need from you

Education:

Graduation from an accredited Practical Nursing Program is required

Experience:

One year employment at Bassett
Minimum two years experience in current practice

Licensure/Certificates:

Current NYS licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse
Additional credentials are determined by specific work unit

Skills:

Excellent communication skills
Proficiency in required nursing skills relevant to area of practice.
Demonstrates consistent excellence in clinical practice.
Ability to multi-task effectively in a rapidly changing environment.
Ability to lead approved work unit initiatives.

Physical Requirements:

Walking, standing, squatting and kneeling required throughout the shift.
Ability to lift and position patients required.
Category I risk exposure as defined by OSHA.
Must be able to identify and differentiate colors.

We are also offering a sign-on bonus for this position! Details and eligibility requirements will be discussed during the interview process. Current employees of Bassett Healthcare Network are not eligible and are encouraged to apply through the internal job board.

This position is eligible for a sign on bonus up to:

USD $20,000.00
Pay Range

Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards. The above compensation range represents a good faith belief of the compensation range by Bassett Healthcare Network, and its entities and affiliates, at the time of this posting or advertisement.

Pay Range Minimum

USD $26.25/Hr.
Pay Range Maximum

USD $39.37/Hr.
