LPN/MA - Family Medicine

Join our Family Medicine team at Moab Regional Hospital!

Our LPN's and MA's provide clinical support services primarily in the Family Medicine Clinic. The Clinic LPN/MA assists in the examination and treatment of patients under the direct supervision of a licensed physician/provider and reports to the RN Clinic Manager.

LPN licensure is required for LPN candidates, Medical assistant training or certification is not required, but preferred.

Individuals with relevant on-the-job training or EMT experience are encouraged to apply!

Responsibilities:

Prepare patients for examination, take vitals, and record patients' health history
Administer immunizations
Perform routine specimen collection and tests
Prepare equipment, stock examination rooms, clean instruments
Assist with in-office procedures
Assist in other areas of medical office support including pre-visit planning, clerical, environmental, and organizational

Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED required
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in a courteous and friendly manner
Must be detail-oriented, organized, reliable, and punctual
High level of self-motivation and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Ability to multi-task and problem solve effectively in a fast paced work environment
Flexible and willing to accept other duties as assigned
Able to lift/move 25 pounds without assistance and lift/move weights beyond 25 pounds with assistance

This is a non-exempt, part-time, year round position.

Anticipated Schedule: Weekdays. Hours are typically 8 AM to 5 PM, but may occasionally vary. Availability between 7 AM and 8 PM is required.

LPN Starting Pay Range: from $24.50 - $31.36, DOE.

MA Starting Pay Range: from $20.00 - $25.60/hour, DOE and certs.
