Job Summary: Under general supervision of a licensed Registered Nurse, the LPN performs nursing services which include observing, reporting, and documenting patient condition; performing supportive, technical, and therapeutic nursing tasks; and preparing, administering, and recording oral, subcutaneous, and intramuscular medications. Minimum Qualifications for the Job: Education: Graduate of an accredited school of practical/vocational nursing. Preferred Experience(s): One (1) year of experience in administration of medications, experience in an inpatient setting. License(s): Valid LPN license issued by the State of Alaska (current license must be maintained throughout term of employment). Certification(s): Current Basic Life Support (BLS) BRH approved behavioral emergency response and de-escalation training within three (3) months of hire. Internal Hires: Pay rate will be determined based on applicable personnel rule or union contract terms.
