Job Responsibilities

Delivering post-acute care as an LPN
Monitoring the physical and mental wellbeing of residents and tracking their vital signs
Performing intakes of residents and documenting their health concerns and medical histories
Reviewing the medical records and charts of residents
Properly administering (and verifying) medications
Helping to maintain appropriate levels of medical supplies

This would include treatment of their physical symptoms, detoxification and associated withdrawal, performing nursing assessments, dispensing medications, presentation of groups, assisting with the admission process. This position also attends to patient care needs in a professional manner that provides goal-oriented, individualized support through assessment, planning, advocacy, coordination, monitoring of activities and this would include coverage on other units when needed. Minimum Qualifications Education: Determined by the Maryland Board of Nursing under the licensing requirements for Practical Nurses. Experience: None.
