ChristianaCare is looking for APC Applicants (Nurse Practitioners/Physician Assistants) who have been licensed less than 18 months to join our innovative and customized 9 month APC Fellowship in Primary Care.  This is an intensive program for new graduate NPs/PAs offering mentorship from experienced clinicians, didactic education, specialty rotations, vest simulation opportunities to enhance patient care skills in a primary care setting. This fellowship program is both supportive and challenging as APCs are seeing patients to engage in the clinical experience, while continuing to learn and grow through a structured didactic curriculum. This program is perfect for an APC who is looking to develop into the role of a primary care provider in a structured environment, with a Fellowship Coordinator providing guidance throughout the program. The APC Fellowship is based in a primary care practice with Fellows being given the opportunity to gain deeper exposure to education in specialty areas uniquely selected for each individual based on their experience clinical.

Each selected Fellow will receive an annual salary of $82,000.   Fellows are considered full-time employees of ChristianaCare with benefits.  The expectation is that Fellows who meet performance objectives and demonstrate ChristianaCare values will apply for permanent employment in a CCHS practice after completing the program.

Education and Experience Requirements:

Master’s degree as an Advance Practice Registered Nurse or graduation from an ARC-PA accredited Physician Assistant Program

License or license eligible in the State of Delaware

Prescriptive authority required in Delaware

Certification in BLS

Hourly Pay Range: $41.00 - $112.75

This pay rate/range represents ChristianaCare’s good faith and reasonable estimate of compensation at the time of posting. The actual salary within this range offered to a successful candidate will depend on individual factors including without limitation skills, relevant experience, and qualifications as they relate to specific job requirements.
