Position Summary
The Primary Care ARNP provides routine medical care in a 70-bed involuntary inpatient psychiatric facility. This role involves conducting medical examinations, diagnosing medical conditions, and managing medical treatment for routine problems.Responsibilities • Perform routine H&Ps for every new admission • Assess and manage medical conditions, including acute complaints and chronic illnesses • Complete Treatment Plan goals for medical care as part of an interdisciplinary team • Consult with psychiatric providers regarding co-occurring psychiatric and medical conditions • Prescribe, monitor, and evaluate results of prescribed medications • Order and interpret laboratory tests as required for medical care • Provide substance withdrawal management as needed • Accurately and appropriately document medical care provided • Implement antimicrobial stewardship practices • Perform other duties as assigned Requirements • A graduate degree from an advanced nursing education program accredited by a national nursing accreditation body recognized by the United States Department of Education • An active Washington state RN license, without sanctions or restrictions • State NP license • Current CME hours to maintain licensure • Family Medicine Certification of Completion from the American Nurse Credentialing Center or the American Association of Nurse Practitioners • Registration capability with the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services. • An active Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) license • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Pay and Benefit Expectations
We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $139,200.00 - $155,200.00 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant’s years of experience align.
