Seeking a full-time, Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join a growing team at Providence Medical Group’s Eastern Washington hospitals.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a large and supportive group in a highly collaborative, collegial Anesthesia team model, at a Level II trauma facility with over 35 ORs. Description MaineHealth Stephens Hospital is currently recruiting foran experienced Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)to work Per Diem in Norway, Maine. We have 3 hospital employed CRNAs on staff covering 3 operating rooms and an endoscopy suite located in Norway, ME. Cases include general surgery, orthopedics, OB/GYN, ophthalmology, ENT and endoscopy. This is a per diem position with no call or weekend expectations. Our CRNAs work collaboratively in a care team model and are medically directed by a group of Anesthesiologists. Desired Qualifications & Experiences Education:Graduate of a nurse anesthesia educational program accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs or its predecessor. License/Certifications:Holds current active state licensure as a registered nurse in the state of Maine, and complies with any applicable state statutory and regulatory requirements for advanced practice registered nursing. Currently certified or recertified by the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists. Experience:Previous experience as a CRNA required. Highly effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills are required to interact with patients, families, department units, medical and nursing staff on all essential matters. Demonstrated ability to promote professionalism thorough involvement in professional organizations, teaching, research, publishing, and/or certification in an area of specialty. Ability to perform clinically as a nurse anesthetist in the facility setting on a regular basis. Ability to demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the patient population(s) served. Ability to operate, use, and interpret data from a wide variety of equipment to perform anesthesia care as well as necessary perioperative or operating room care to support the safety and wellbeing of the patient while they are under the direct care of the CRNA. Ability to demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span and ability to assess data reflective of the patient’s requirements relative to his or her population-specific and age specific needs. Insurable by an appropriate medical malpractice insurer for the limits required by this institution or state.
