Education/Training:

Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant Program

Licenses/Certification:

• NP, DNP or PA-C

• Massachusetts NP/PA medical license

• DEA/MCSR license

• ACLS/BLS/PALS certification

Perform daily patient rounds and follow up on all patients and consults including physical exams, diagnostic and therapeutic intervention and order routine labs, diagnostic tests and consults after conferring with the MD c - Participate as assigned in surgical operating procedures. d- Provide initial interpretation of EKG and CXR and initiate definitive treatment. e - For inclusion in patient medical records, write pre and post op orders, brief op notes, procedure notes, progress notes, transfer and discharge orders, write prescriptions.
