We are seeking a Registered Nurse with exceptional IV skills who would enjoy working in a clinic setting administering atypical infusions in our Outpatient Multispecialty Clinic. Our specialties include, but are not limited to, Endocrinology, Nephrology, Gastroenterology, Rheumatology and Bone & Mineral.

Our infusion nurses provide direct care to patients receiving infusions such as Iron, Remicade, Aranesp, Entyvio, Reclast, and perform Lipid Apheresis. The primary responsibilities are starting line access, mixing and preparing medication, and monitoring patients during their outpatient infusion.

Job Description

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

Demonstrates comprehensive knowledge of chemotherapy drugs and supportive therapy for our patients. Incorporates this knowledge of Oncology to customize the care for each of their patients personal care needs.
  • Provides accurate counsel and education to patients and/or family at an appropriate level of understanding for the patient and/or family member regarding their disease process and symptom management.

  • Maintains required skills and competencies and participates in educational programs, staff meetings, skills day, and obtains OCN certification within two years.
