The Blood and Marrow Transplant and Cellular Immunotherapy (BMT CI) Department at Moffitt Cancer Center is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our hybrid inpatient/outpatient evening team.
We welcome oncology, ICU, hospital medicine, and internal medicine APPs who are interested in transitioning into transplant and cellular therapy. Prior BMT experience is preferred — but not required.
This role offers structured clinical exposure, strong physician collaboration, and the opportunity to build highly specialized expertise in a nationally recognized cancer program.

Position Overview
Based in the Blood and Marrow Transplant and Cellular Immunotherapy Department (BMT CI), this Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant provides patient care under the auspices of the Moffitt Medical Group (MMG), supports department Medical Oncologists, and serves as a member of the academic medical enterprise; advancing the institutional mission of contributing to the prevention and cure of cancer.
You will care for patients undergoing bone marrow transplant and Cellular Immunotherapy procedures, collaborating closely with physicians, pharmacists, nursing, and specialty services to manage complex treatment regimens and complications.

Credentials And Qualifications
Bachelor's degree at minimum; master's degree preferred.
Graduate of an accredited Advanced Registered Nurse or Physician Assistant program.
Active FL medical license (or the ability to obtain one) and national certification by the appropriate accreditation body.
Active BLS and ACLS (must be AHA approved)
Experience in oncology or general internal medicine; previous BMT experience preferred

What You’ll Do
- Provide direct medical care to BMT and Cellular Immunotherapy patients in inpatient and outpatient settings
- Manage medically complex patients with co-morbidities
- Assist physicians with evaluation, management, and treatment planning
- Formulate differential diagnoses based on clinical data
- Develop treatment plans within scope of practice
- Prescribe oral and IV medications as appropriate
- Perform minor procedures within scope of practice
- Coordinate care across a multidisciplinary team
- Document patient care in accordance with medical staff rules
