This unit is fast-paced and highly specialized, requiring advanced clinical skills and critical thinking. Patient Population Heart Failure Patients : Including those requiring advanced therapies and close hemodynamic monitoring. STEMI and Acute Coronary Syndrome : Post-emergent interventions and stabilization. Procedural Patients : Recovering from Electrophysiology (EP) procedures and Cardiac Catheterization (Cath Lab) interventions such as PCI, ablations, and device placements. Mechanical Circulatory Support : Patients with Impella 5.5 devices and other advanced cardiac assist devices.
