ICU/PCU Our combined PCU and ICU is a 10-bed unit that allows us to care for high acuity patients without having to move the patient between ICU and step down. Our rooms are large allowing us to move freely around the room while providing care to our critical patients. We provide an excellent orientation with the assistance of our clinical education team with a focus of ACLS, PALS, Basic Arrhythmias, ICU Core training, Critical Drips and Moderate Sedation. Description The Medicine Progressive Care Unit (MPCU) is seeking a Nursing Assistant I (Per Diem) to join their team. The MPCU is a 24-bed intermediate care unit on the medicine service that has moved to a newly renovated location on 3 Bedtower. This unit receives a variety of medical patients who require intermediate level care. The MPCU has received the Gold-level Beacon Award for Excellence designated by the American Association of Critical Care Nurses (AACN). The AACN created the Beacon designation to recognize individual units that have set a path to excellence in an effort to highlight critical care units that distinguish themselves in every facet of patient care.
