CNA Per Diem

Highlands Health and Rehabilitation Center is seeking for passionate Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our growing nursing team in Memphis, TN. As a CNA you will provide basic patient care under the direction of nursing staff. 

 

This position is PRN or per diem only. 

 

Pay Rates:

  • $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
  • $22.00 per hour --> MaxPay Program - Inquire during interview for program details.

Job Requirements:

 

  • Current and valid CNA certification in the state of TN
  • Previous experience in long term care or healthcare preferred
  • Compassion, resident-centered care approach
  • Strong observation, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Physical ability to assist residents with mobility
  • Dependable, punctual and able to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays

Job Responsibilities may include:

 

  • Provide direct professional care to residents, including assistant with activities of daily living
  • Assist residents with mobility, transfers, and exercise programs
  • Measure and record vital signs, weight, and other health indicators
  • Observe residents' physical and emotional condition and report any concerns to supervisors
  • Support residents' nutritional needs by assisting with meals, hydration and feeding as needed
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment, including making beds and changing linens
  • Assist with resident admissions, discharges and transfers while ensuring comfort
  • Document care provided accurately in medical records and charts
  • Communicate effectively with residents, facilities and other team members
  • Respond promptly to resident call lights and urgent needs
