This busy med/surg/telemetry unit is seeking a nursing assistant to complement our professional staff. We prefer the experienced nursing assistant who enjoys patient contact, exhibits a great work ethic and, most importantly, has demonstrated a stable past work history. They will be required to work every other weekend and some holidays. The job duties include, but are not limited to, signing vital documentation and promptly reporting any abnormalities to the nursing staff, assisting with activities of daily living, patient hygiene and providing any unexpected assistance the nursing staff may require. New employees receive a comprehensive hospital orientation and unit-specific orientation. Basic Life Support or CPR—friends and family certification is required for this position and can be obtained through our Career Institute.
