Clinical Nurse - RN - Pediatric ICU - 11C - Full Time - Nights

For nurses at NewYork-Presbyterian Morgan Stanley Children’s Hospital, every moment – and every patient – is precious. Talented PICU nurses deliver around-the-clock care for over 1,900 children annually, using advanced support technology not commonly found in pediatric settings.

The Pediatric ICU is a14 bed PICU specializing in trauma, neurology, neurosurgery, orthopedics, respiratory failure, renal failure, CRRT, mechanical ventilation, trach to vent, pulmonary hypertension, hematology/oncology, sepsis, etc. We take acute & chronically ill children ranging in age from 0-21.

Preferred Criteria

At least one year of acute care RN experience in pediatrics, PICU, NICU, or adult ICU
National Certification

Job Description Responsible for working with other healthcare professionals to help treat patients with various injuries, illnesses or disabilities. Monitors patients, administers medications, keeps records, consults with healthcare providers, educates patients and more. Principal Accountabilities Maintains accurate, complete health care records and reports. Administers medications to patients and monitors them for side effects and reactions. Prescribes assistive medical devices and related treatments. Monitors, reports, and records symptoms or changes in patient conditions.
