Work hours: PRN – Monday-Friday Variable hours 0630-1900
Surgery Highlights
- Robust Unit Based Council (UBC) and engaged leadership team.
- 8 Operating Rooms Including 3 Robotic Operating Rooms
- Center of excellence for Bariatric surgery
- Associate degree from an accredited Nursing program Or Diploma Nurse Program
- BSN preferred
- One-year experience as a registered nurse, or completion of an RN residency program.
- RN with one year of Operating Room circulator experience in a hospital setting (preferred)
- RN - Registered Nurse Upon Hire (Required upon hire)
- BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support (Required upon hire) AND
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support 90 Days Req
- Delivers care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process
- Assesses the patient
- Plans the care of the patient
- Intervenes as appropriate
- Evaluates the effectiveness of interventions
- Incorporates age-specific safety/infection control measures into patient care.
- Initiates action to meet patient and/or significant other’s need for information
- Maintains continuity of patient care inter-shift, inter-hospital, and while expediting out-of-hospital transfers.
