Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) – School Setting (Spring, TX)

A school district in the Spring, TX area is seeking a dedicated Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to provide specialized nursing care in a school environment. This contract position offers full-time hours supporting a student with 1:1 nursing needs requiring clinical care such as tube feeding, suctioning, and oxygen monitoring.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide nursing support to a student with complex medical needs during the school day
Perform tube feeding, suctioning, and oxygen saturation monitoring as prescribed
Collaborate with school staff and healthcare providers to ensure the student’s health and safety
Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with district and healthcare standards
Adhere to all required health and safety protocols, including district fingerprinting and drug screening

Required Qualifications:

Current Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license issued by the Texas Board of Nursing
Experience working with pediatric or adolescent patients, preferably in school or educational settings
Knowledge of specialized nursing procedures such as tube feeding and respiratory care
Ability to provide compassionate, patient-centered care with professionalism and attention to detail
Compliance with district credentialing requirements, including fingerprinting and drug screening

Location & Schedule:

Position based in the Spring Branch ISD region, Houston, TX area
Full-time, approximately 37.5 hours per week
Contract length: ASAP start through May 26, 2026 (approximately 10-12 weeks)
