Job Summary and Qualifications

The Manager ensures high quality, patient-centered care through oversight of the overall daily function and staffing of the unit/department. 

The Manager monitors and evaluates the provision of nursing care in accordance with established policies/procedures and holds staff accountable for quality and clinical outcomes in support of facility objectives.​​​ 

The Manager will be responsible for the PCU, Ortho/Neuro, and the Centralized Monitor Room. 

What qualifications you will need:

​Associate Degree in Nursing or RN Diploma.  Required

​Bachelors Degree in Nursing.  Preferred

​2+ years clinical nursing experience required. Prefer experience in area of specialty that will be managing. One year supervisory or charge nurse experience preferred.  Required 

Overland Park Regional Medical Center is a 340+ bed facility offering acute medical services to our patients. We are Johnson County’s only Pediatric Intensive Care Unit and Level II Trauma Center. We have an Accredited Stroke and Chest Pain Center. Our hospital is a premier area destination for Womens & Children’s healthcare services.
