The SWAT nurse is a highly skilled, highly trained experienced nurse who provides support to both the ASCs and the main hospital. The SWAT nurse is able to function independently to provide safe, quality and clinically competent care. The Registered Nurse delivers nursing care for patients across their life span, and through the nursing process, assesses, plans, implements, and documents the effects of care.
