UNC Surgical Specialists at Goldsboro is a well-established and growing general surgery practice dedicated to providing high-quality, patient-centered surgical care. We are seeking a motivated Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our collaborative surgical team.

Position Highlights

Team Environment: Join a team of experienced General Surgeons in a supportive, collegial setting
Scope of Practice: Broad exposure to general surgery, including pre-operative, intra-operative (first assist), and post-operative care
Collaboration: Work closely with surgeons, APPs, and a multidisciplinary care team
Call Schedule: Shared call rotation (details to be discussed based on experience and team structure)
Hospital Coverage: o Primary hospital: UNC Health Wayne
Clinic Location: Conveniently located near the hospital campus
Support System: Strong clinical and administrative support staff
Hospitalist Support: In-house hospitalist services available

Candidate Requirements

Licensed NP or PA in the state of North Carolina (or eligible)
Interest or experience in General Surgery preferred
New graduates with a strong interest in surgery are encouraged to apply
Experience with Epic preferred
