Responsibilities
As the Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) at Burnett Extended Care Center, you'll play a key leadership role in shaping a groundbreaking care experience within our newest 154-bed transitional care facility. Scheduled to open this summer on the Community Regional campus, Burnett is designed to deliver innovative, patient-centered care across multiple specialized units — including memory care and transitional care. You'll work closely with the Director of Nursing to ensure high-quality nursing care is consistently delivered while helping to establish and cultivate a supportive team culture from day one.
In your role, you'll be responsible for supervising and evaluating patient care provided by nursing personnel, ensuring regulatory compliance, and assisting with staffing, scheduling, and patient flow management. You'll also play a vital part in managing productivity and resource utilization to help meet departmental financial targets. Located adjacent to the region's only Level I Trauma Center, you'll be integral to maintaining the continuity of care across the entire health system — helping patients safely transition from hospital to extended care. This is an exciting opportunity to join the largest healthcare system in the region, providing you the opportunity to share and expand your expertise in the field.
