    Key Responsibilities:
    · Assist physicians and nursing staff with patient care
    · Prepare patients for examination and treatment
    · Take patient histories and vital signs
    · Perform lab and phlebotomy duties
    · Provide information to patients to help them benefit from clinic services
    · Maintain a positive and supportive environment for clients

    Education, Experience, and/or Credential Qualifications:
    · High school diploma or equivalent required
    · Graduate from an accredited Medical Assistant Program or Licensed Practical Nurse in applicable state
    · CPR certification preferred
    · Phlebotomy training and previous lab experience preferred
    · One year of experience in a physician office setting preferred

    Additional Qualifications:
    · Current driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and current auto insurance

    Physical Requirements:
    · ADA Consideration - Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, or pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body.
    · Repetitive movements of hands, fingers, and arms for typing and/or writing during work shift.
    · Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time.
