How you’ll make an impact in this role

  • Serve as the authority on quality, safety, and Evidence-Based Practices to drive superior patient outcomes.
  • Partner with leaders to coach and develop staff, identify gaps, and promote skill and mastery.
  • Interpret safety metrics and use data to refine nursing practices and key quality indicators.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Red Cross or American Heart Association accepted.
  • Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Kansas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited school/college of nursing required.

Work Experience:

  • 2 years applicable experience required.
  • 5 years preferred.

Under general supervision, provides professional nursing care for patients adhering to national and company standards and guidelines for specialty regulations. Demonstrates knowledge of physiological, psychological, and developmental and age specific differences in the patient population including late adolescence, adulthood, middle age, and the elderly.
