Job Summary and Qualifications

Provides direct patient care and support within a behavioral health setting, working under the supervision of a nurse.Responsibilities includeassistingwith daily living activities,monitoringvital signs, reporting changes in patient behavior,participatingin treatment planning, and ensuring patient safety. They also play a crucial role in creating a therapeutic environment and fostering positive patient interactions.

Qualifications:

High school diploma/GED preferred.

Basic Life Support (BLS) certificationrequiredwithin30 daysof start date

Nonviolent Crisis Intervention(CPI)required within30 daysof start date

Prior experience in a behavioral health or psychiatric setting is preferred

Strong communication, interpersonal, and observation skills are essential
