Job Summary and Qualifications

Provides direct patient care and support within a behavioral health setting, working under the supervision of a nurse. Responsibilities include assisting with daily living activities ,monitoring vital signs, reporting changes in patient behavior, participating in treatment planning, and ensuring patient safety. They also play a crucial role in creating a therapeutic environment and fostering positive patient interactions.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma/GED preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certificationrequiredwithin30 daysof start date
- Nonviolent Crisis Intervention(CPI)required within30 daysof start date
- Prior experience in a behavioral health or psychiatric setting is preferred
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and observation skills are essential
1 year of experience as a MHT/ CNA in a healthcare setting
Nonviolent Crisis Intervention must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
