Telephonic Nurse Case Manager

We are seeking a Telephonic Nurse Case Manager with compact RN license and CCM to work Monday - Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM Eastern time zone. NCIC registry and GA Rehab Supplier required upon hire. 

The Telephonic Case Manager provides remote medical case management services to injured individuals, many of whom were industrially injured. A Telephonic Case Manager assists consumers in their recovery so that they may return to the highest level of function as possible. Medical services are coordinated and assessed frequently, vocational options are explored with the injured worker and their employers, and pre-injury employment or alternate employment is secured. The Telephonic Case Manager works with all parties to the claim including: the injured person, the claim’s examiner, employer, attorneys (plaintiff and defense) and medical providers.

Qualifications:

  • Unrestricted compact RN required
  • CCM required
  • NCIC Registry and GA Rehab Supplier List required upon hire
  • Bilingual (Spanish speaking) preferred
  • Worker’s compensation case management experience strongly preferred
  • ICU/ER experience experience will be considered
  • Case Managers may also need regional or national certifications and must adhere to the standards of practice outlined by the specific national certifying body or the jurisdictionally accepted standards of practice.  
  • Professional licenses or certifications required to meet qualifications for this position must be current, unrestricted and allow for practice within a state or territory of the United States.

Two years of full-time equivalent direct clinical experience to the consumer (required for casework referred from Accounts requiring accredited case management). Professional licenses or certifications required to meet qualifications for this position must be current, unrestricted and allow for practice within a state or territory of the United States. Valid driver’s license, and good driving history Competencies: Exceptional time management and organization skills are required. A full-time QRC is responsible for approximately 25 files that all require contact and reporting within specific timelines. The ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people on a daily basis utilizing both verbal and written communication. Flexibility, versatility, and problem solving – this role works at a fast pace. Technology proficiency – QRC’s at Paradigm CCS use an advanced Case Management software solution to do their work. A laptop and cell phone are used daily. The desire to help others and yourself succeed. Self-motivated and ability to work independently. Triage Registered Nurse

$30 - $35 / hour
We are seeking a full-time Triage Nurse to cover a rotating shift. A Triage Nurse takes calls from injured workers, assesses their current medical status, applies appropriate Triage Protocols, and directs the injured worker to seek the appropriate level of care. The Triage Nurse follows specific account guidelines to complete the Triage Process per the account protocols that have been developed. The Triage Nurse works with parties to the claim specified in the account guidelines which may include: the injured person, the claim’s examiner, employers, and medical providers. Schedule (30-40 hours per week): Weekday evenings, 1-2 per week Every 4th weekend Remaining shifts would be days Includes shift differentials Qualifications: Current, unencumbered compact RN license required Bilingual (Spanish speaking) preferred Professional licenses or certifications required to meet qualifications for this position must be current, unrestricted and allow for practice within a state or territory of the United States.
