Position Summary

The Assistant Nurse Manager-OR (ANM-OR) is a professional nurse who demonstrates expertise in utilizing the concepts of participative management. The ANM-OR has the responsibility and authority for assisting in the management of the department. Among these responsibilities are: coordinating, evaluating improving nursing care and assisting the department leadership in promoting safe, cost effective, quality patient care on a daily basis. The ANM-OR works within the framework of ECU Health / ECU Health Medical Center.

Minimum Requirements

College Degree (4 yrs)
BSN required and MSN preferred

NC Registered Nurse required, CNOR preferred, with at least 1 year of progressive leadership experience preferred.

2 years of recent OR clinical experience with 1 year in OR specialty required

3 to 5 years of OR clinical experience with 2 years in OR specialty preferred

Pay Range

Pay Range: $43.40 - $59.68

Position Summary $30K Commitment Bonus Responsible to provide care in accordance with the North Carolina Board of Nursing-Nurse Practice Act, American Nurses Association Standards of Practice and other standards established by profession/professional groups, regulating bodies/agents. Nursing care will be delivered in accordance with ECU Health and entity specific nursing policies, procedures and professional standards of care/practice. Responsible for the provision and coordination of nursing care to include the collection and analysis of assessment data, identification of expected outcomes and development of plan of care in collaboration with the patient/family and other interdisciplinary team members. Identifies interventions to attain expected outcomes, implements the interventions identified in the plan of care, evaluates the progress of the patient/family toward attainment of outcomes, and documents the process. This care includes sensitivity to age specific and unique needs of the patient/family. Promotes and evaluates the effective functioning of the health care team.
