Delivers care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process
We offer advanced care in cardiovascular services, high-risk obstetrics, gynecology, neurosciences, sports medicine, and emergency medicine. Our hospital also features certified programs in Advanced Hip and Knee Replacement, Brain Tumor Treatment, Advanced Spine Care, and Advanced Palliative Care. We are also home to a kidney transplant program that underscores our high-acuity capabilities, and we support Graduate Medical Education (GME) to help train the next generation of physicians.

- Central Staffing department for 833-bed MAGNET facility
- Level I Trauma Center
- Primary Heart Attack Center PHAC

Here’s What You Need:
- Nursing Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred
- 1-year experience as a registered nurse or completion of an RN residency program required
- RN – Registered Nurse Upon Hire Required
- BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support - prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly Required
- ACLS – Advanced Cardiac Life Support - within 90 days of hire Required
- CPI – Crisis Prevention Intervention Training – within 90 days of hire Required
- PALS – Pediatric Advanced Life Support – required for ED Neighborhood within 90 days of hire Required
Delivers care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process
- assesses the patient
- plans the care of the patient
- intervenes as appropriate
- evaluates the effectiveness of intervention
- Incorporates age specific safety/infection control measures into patient care.
- Initiates action to meet patient and/or significant others need for information
- Maintains continuity of patient care inter-shift, inter-hospital, and while expediting out of hospital transfers
