Requirements:

  • Current RN license and good standing with the State Board of Nursing.
  • Current AHA BLS certification.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience as an inpatient Med-Surg/Tele RN (most recent within the last year).
  • Strong ability to assess, plan, coordinate, evaluate and delegate the delivery of skilled patient care, as well as demonstrate critical thinking, and consistency in following established processes.
  • Must be competent caring for patients on telemetry monitors, identifying basic arrhythmias, and interpreting EKG strips.

Supported by the Manager, Clinical Nurse Specialist, Nurse Educator and Operations Coordinator. The Medical Surgical team is deeply committed to maintaining the standards of a Healthy Workplace for its employees and prides itself in the teamwork between the members of its professional “family.” New staff to the team (whether recently graduated or experienced) are supported with a thoughtful, structured and effective orientation.
