Requirements:

  • Must have completed a state-approved CNA program
  • Current BLS from the American Heart Association (be sure to include the AHA logo and QR Code).
  • Minimum of 6-months to 1-year experience as a CNA in a hospital setting required (experience required dependent on facility).
  • Must show competency performing blood glucose testing, obtaining and documenting vital signs, intake and output, and weight.
  • Ability to provide comfort and support to patients, assisting with personal hygiene and other activities of daily living, and safe transport of patients.

We Are Hiring: Certified Nursing Assistant - OMH Day Surgery- 0.9 FTE The Day Surgery Unit is a 23 bed Outpatient/Ambulatory Surgery unit. The staff provide pre and post operative/procedural care to Surgery, Interventional Radiology, Cath lab, GI and a select populations of Radiology patients receiving anesthesia services. An average of 15 patients per day begin in day surgery with the majority of patients being discharged the day of their procedure and some admitted to critical or inpatient units.
