You will provide patient-focused care to help our patients feel better FAST! Boom! Services provided to the public include urgent care, primary medical care, telemedicine, and occupational medicine. The ideal applicant will be flexible working with teams in different clinics and providing leadership in a high volume and fast-paced urgent care environment.

Responsibilities:

Minor surgery (toenail removal, foreign object removal, etc.)
Suturing
Splinting
General Orthopedic evaluations/management
Review of x-rays (to be over-read by Radiologist, too)
General Dermatology
General eye problems
General EKG interpretations
Emergency management skills
General GYN expertise
Treating children of all ages
Occupational medicine
Telemedicine

Qualifications:

Family Nurse Practitioner Board Certification required
MSN, or higher education required
Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Position Summary Under the general direction of the Center for Medication Management Clinic Manager, provide advanced education and care to patients receiving anticoagulant therapy, hyperlipidemia management, and diabetic education. Responsible for working with physicians within the predefined guidelines approved by the P&T Committee for management of patients referred for anticoagulation therapy, hyperlipidemia management, and diabetic education. This includes but is not limited to the following medications warfarin (Coumadin), low molecular weight heparin (LMWH), aspirin, simvastatin (Zocor), lovastatin (Altoprev, Mevacor), rosuvastatin (Crestor), fluvastatin (Lescol), atorvastatin (Lipitor), pitavastatin (Livalo), and pravastatin (Pravachol). Other medications include bile acid resins: cholestyramine, colestipol, colesevelam, and the antilipemic agent: eztimibe (Zetia). Niacin, Fish oil, and fibric acid derivatives: Fenofibrate, gemfibrozil, and fenofibric acid are several other medications.
