Description:

The selected applicants will perform various waived, moderately and highly complex hematologic, chemical, immunohematologic, immunologic/serologic, microscopic, and microbiological tests on specimens to obtain data for use in diagnosis or treatment of diseases.


Requirements:

  • National certification as an MT/MLS/MLT by an approved agency (ASCP or AMT) preferred
  • Two years Lab Tech I or II experience preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in MLS and 1 year of experience or an Associate's degree in MLT and 2 years of experience required.
  • Knowledge of lab equipment, quality control methods, and report management required

The Medical Technologist III performs waived and non-waived tests defined by Clinical Laboratory Improvmeent Amendments (CLIA) in an accurate and timely manner under direct supervision.
