Location and Schedule:

Position is based in Wheaton, IL (zip code 60187).
Nurse will travel to the student's home in Winfield, IL each morning and accompany the student via bus to and from school. Candidates should confirm the commute feasibility before applying.
Work hours are approximately 8:15 AM to 3:30 PM Monday through Wednesday.
Thursday and Friday are half days with hours from 9:00 AM to 11:45 AM.
Assignment starts ASAP and runs through May 28, 2026.

Qualifications:

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Illinois is required.
Previous experience working in a school nursing environment.
Skilled in tracheostomy care including suctioning and insertion.
Capability to identify and respond to adrenal crisis, including administration of Act-O-Vial SoluCortef injection.
Ability to manage multiple complex medical issues simultaneously.
LPNs are not eligible for this position.
