Concentra is now hiring an experienced and self-driven RN for a Full-Time onsite position. This role will provide healthcare support at our onsite healthcare clinic located at our client's site in Pocatello, ID!

Site Schedule: Monday - Friday 8AM-4PM

Responsibilities

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

As an Onsite Registered Nurse you will:

Observe, assess and record patients’ symptoms, reactions and progress
Develop and manage nursing care plans, instruct patients and their families in proper care and help individuals and groups take steps to improve or maintain their health
Provide nursing and first aid services to employees and people who are ill or injured on our clients’ premises in accordance with Concentra policies, practices, procedures, and applicable regulations to achieve occupational health and safety services objectives

Qualifications

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited college or university or Graduate of an accredited Registered nursing program
Current registration/license in the state where employed
Previous occupational health experience is highly preferred; COHN is requested
Customarily at least one year of demonstrated experience in occupational health nursing or related field

WORK ENVIRONMENT AND CONDITIONS:

Clinic environment within a workplace setting

Awareness of medications used intraoperatively and post-operatively/PACU and administer as needed per Doctor's order. Thorough knowledge and observance of aseptic technique/sterile technique and universal precautions, monitor traffic patterns, protect sterile environment. Coordinates the instrument, sharps, and sponge counts according to hospital policy. Knowledge of procedures with the ability to scrub/assist if necessary. Facilitates and performs appropriate precautions when handling specimens and blood products, and when disposing of soiled linens, drapes, sponges, sharps. Takes and/or writes Doctor's orders as necessary. Maintains a correct/complete documentation of surgical procedure and charges. Notifies PACU and/or other nursing units of patient's condition at/or prior to transport. Assist in patient transfers from Surgery to Recovery Room and from Recovery Room to the floor. Gives verbal report with transportation of patient. Works PACU as needed after adequate orientation is achieved. Initiates/participates in emergency measures when warranted. Assembles, prepares, checks, and reports malfunctions or breakage of equipment/instruments. Cleans/sterilizes instruments/equipment, wrapping, autoclaving, disinfecting, flashing, the need for gas sterilization and the use of appropriate monitoring devices.
