Licensed Practical Nurse Responsibilities:

  • Develops, implements, and evaluates resident care plans.
  • Recognizes and manages common geriatric conditions.
  • Supervises TMAs and Nursing Aides.
  • Maintains respectful, professional interactions with residents, families, and staff.
  • Administers and monitors medications and treatments per physician orders.
  • Manages medication and supply inventory according to policy.
  • Documents care using electronic charting systems.
  • Communicates significant changes in resident condition to appropriate parties.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Licensed Practical Nurse Qualifications:
  • Current Minnesota LPN license in good standing.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
