Registered Nurse School Setting in Winder, GA

Provide dedicated, one-on-one nursing support for a student in a school setting located in Winder, GA. This full-time contract position requires a compassionate Registered Nurse to assist with tracheostomy care while supporting the student throughout the school day, as well as accompanying them on bus rides before and after school hours.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver skilled nursing care, including tracheostomy management, to a student attending a general education class
  • Provide continuous nursing supervision during the school day and on transportation to and from school
  • Safely accompany the student on the bus, parking personal transportation at the student's home and returning there after school drop-off
  • Collaborate with educational staff and caregivers to ensure student health and safety needs are met

Qualifications:

  • Active Georgia Registered Nurse license in good standing
  • Current CPR/BLS certification
  • Certification and demonstrated proficiency in tracheostomy care
  • Experience working with pediatric populations and comfort in a school environment
  • Ability to maintain professionalism and compassion while providing individualized care

Location: Winder, GA onsite school-based position with travel between students home and school via bus.
