RN School Contract

A registered nurse (RN) is needed to provide in-home support for a homebound student participating in virtual learning in Greenwood, IN. This contract position requires a compassionate and attentive RN to monitor the student’s health during daily online instruction.

Responsibilities include:

  • Monitoring vitals and medical stats throughout the 2-hour school day
  • Assisting with toileting and personal care needs as required
  • Administering medication when necessary
  • Supporting the student’s overall wellbeing in coordination with the parent and instructional assistant present
  • Documenting any medical observations or incidents during the school day

Qualifications:

  • Current RN license with relevant experience in pediatric or school nursing preferred
  • Ability to work collaboratively with parents, instructional assistants, and school staff
  • Strong observational skills and attention to detail
  • Comfort providing personal care support

Schedule:

  • 2 hours per day, Monday through Friday
