Key Responsibilities Provide direct perioperative nursing care in accordance with AORN standards and department policies. Maintain effective communication with the surgical team to ensure patient safety, efficiency, and adherence to regulatory standards. Collaborate with full‑time staff to support continuity of care, workflow, and departmental operations. Requirements Current Illinois RN license required. Minimum one year of RN operating room experience or – Prior registry surgical nurse experience or – The ability to train full‑time until competency is achieved. Must be willing and able to meet all scheduling expectations, including: Weekend shifts as assigned Call coverage during designated times Holiday rotation Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills. Ability to work both independently and within a team environment. Work Shift Details: Registry, Minimum of 48 hours per month, with weekend rotation, call and holiday requirements.
