Unit Description: As a nurse in the Operating Room at The University of Vermont Medical Center you are working in a level 1 trauma center seeing all service lines within the OR. Nurses have the opportunity to work in a collaborative atmosphere and join a specialty team such as the heart, ortho or neuro team as well as working with our Davinci robots. Prior Operating Room experience required.

How you make a difference The Regional Nurse Educator is responsible for developing, reviewing, and implementing comprehensive training programs for nursing staff, with a focus on ensuring competence and proficiency in caring for adults with serious and persistent mental illness, substance use disorders, and chronic medical problems. This includes designing and delivering training sessions, evaluating training effectiveness, and providing ongoing support and education to nursing staff to meet the unique needs of the patient population served.
