Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. The salary range for this position is $84.78 - $109.85 (Hourly Rate).

Department Description

The Moffitt Long Operating Room (OR) consists of 28 surgical suites. Our primary focus is tertiary/quaternary surgical care using team based staffing. Our complex surgery uses the most advanced technology, including hybrid suites and robotic surgery. Services include but are not limited to: General Surgery, Urology, Transplant, Cardiac, Vascular, Thoracic, OHNS, OMFS, Plastics, Ophthalmology, Orthopedics, and Neurosurgery.

Required Qualifications

  • 2-3 years Adult Operating Room (OR) RN clinical experience
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in scrubbing and circulating Neurosurgery cases, including Neurovascular (Open and Intraop angiography), Functional, Peripheral nerve and Neurooncological specialties.
  • Flexibility to orient and work at all UCSF Health locations
  • Excellent verbal and written skills. Must be well organized and detail oriented with the ability to multi-task and work independently and under pressure.
  • Basic computer skills and general PC knowledge

  • CNOR

License/Certification

Active Registered Nurse licensure in the State of California Active American Heart Association CPR Certification
