LPN Scheduling Manager

The Scheduling Manager is responsible for accurately scheduling qualified caregivers/CNAs based on all new and current clients. The Staffing Manager may also assist with interviewing and training new caregivers/CNAs. One year scheduling experience required. DHS background clearance required. Consistently organize caregiver and client's issues (i.e. time off requests, questions, changes in schedule and/or availability concerns). Effectively and accurately communicate with caregivers, clients, case managers, and office staff. Communicate staffing needs with the team. Answer incoming calls in a friendly, professional, and knowledgeable manner. Build plans and shifts to match insurance codes. Monitor electronic clocking in/out and late alerts. Track attendance and illness log. Receiving drugs from pharmacy in accordance with established procedures. Knowledge of procedures and ability to determine Advance Directive status for patients. Collection of lab specimens and interpreting results. IV implementation and administration. Seizure precautions and administration of IV medication during a seizure. Admits, discharges and transfers patients as requested. Documentation and billing of supplies used. Maintains effective lines of communication with attending physicians. Assists the Director of Nursing Services to coordinate the care planning/MDS process and committee meetings as necessary. Participates in patient screening and selection process as requested. Assists the Director of Nursing Services in follow-up on consultant recommendations, i.e., pharmacy, dietary, etc. SKILLS AND ABILITIES Proficient in using a computer, especially Microsoft Office, Excel and Power Point.
